Ambassador Network

Welcome Heroes, Parents, Family Members, Siblings, and Friends!

Who are Ambassadors? Any child who has been diagnosed with HIE or a family member, sibling, or friend of an HIE hero who wants a deeper level of involvement with the Macie Jo Foundation can become an Ambassador. The program allows Ambassadors to pick their own level of involvement which can range from attending events, speaking at events, visiting schools in their community, holding their own events, or connecting with local families and friends. Each Hero, Sibling, and Friend Ambassador adds their own voice and experiences to the fight and helps raise awareness about HIE. Not only is this empowering and cathartic for the Ambassador, but it will show the breadth of HIE’s impact and bring forward one more reason to fight for better futures!

Hero Ambassadors

Hero Ambassadors are HIE heroes, parents of heroes, and extended family members of heroes who are turning trials into triumph by using the power of their experience to make a difference and get involved in the fight against HIE.

Sibling Ambassadors

Our Sibling Ambassadors give a voice to the brothers and sisters of children with HIE, offering a space to share their unique journeys and ways of coping. HIE doesn’t just affect one child—it touches the whole family. By sharing their stories, our Sibling Ambassadors help shine a light on the often-overlooked impact HIE has on siblings, offering insight, support, and connection."

Friend Ambassadors

Friend Ambassadors are friends of a child with HIE, their siblings, or parents—each holding a unique piece of the story. By sharing their experiences, they inspire their communities and find purpose in the fight against HIE. These special Ambassadors lead school programs, local events, and often serve as Miles for MJF leaders and hosts.
